Although appraisal is an accepted process is most organisations supervisors and their direct reports are often critical and many see it is a time consuming waste of time. As a result appraisals are often late and innefective providing little organisational benefit.
The MacawUK Appraisal Skills Programme is designed to provide appraisers and appraisees with the skills and abilities to conduct effective appraisal discussions and explore the issues affecting good appraisal discussion..
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

- State the skills required to undertake an effective appraisal
- Identify the factors that need to exist when giving effective feedback

This is a highly participative event where delegates will take part in interactive discussions and exercises to determine how to create the right environment for effective appraisals. The programme considers the roles of both appraiser and appraisee. Each topic will allow participants to discuss the issues that effect them and to arrive at a point where they identify best/good practice around appraisals.
The outcome will be participants more confident in conducting effective appraisals.
